I waited to review these until I’d done a few freeway rides with them, and wow — they really help. I’ve heard that hearing damage can start above 85 dB, and highway wind noise can easily hit 105 dB or more. These cut the harsh wind noise while still letting me hear my bike and everything important around me. With the reduced wind noise, riding at 80 mph feels more like relaxed cruising instead of chaotic rushing.
